natural idylls

The experience of being in nature as part of the greater whole, being one with life, and finding peace with one's own being has inspired me to create these paintings. In our society, where growth as an economic term means exploiting people, nature, and resources to gain more money, power, and prestige, it often becomes evident that we pay for lack of access to the simplicity of nature with a loss of our sense of connection and self-respect.
